ATC Residency, Class of 2022-2023

Camille is originally from Tampa, Florida. She received her BS in Athletic Training from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida. During her undergraduate education, Camille completed an internship at the United States Air Force Academy Preparatory School in Colorado Springs while working with the football and wrestling teams. Before becoming a Resident at VSON, she completed her MA in Exercise and Sports Science at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. While there, she worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with the women’s basketball and women’s rowing teams.


When she is not treating patients, Camille enjoys yoga, live music, and cheering on Tampa sports teams. 

Grace comes to Vail from Beaumont, Texas, where she spent the previous two seasons as the Men’s Basketball Athletic Trainer at Lamar University. She also taught in the Kinesiology department, acting as the program director for the LAT program offered by Lamar. While completing her MS in Exercise Physiology at Baylor University, Grace worked with the Baylor football and women’s golf teams. Prior to her time in Waco, Grace did a summer internship with the Indianapolis Colts and was the first female hired to work on the Colts’ athletic training staff. During her internship, she also aided in joint practices with the Detroit Lions, who shared the Colts’ facility.

  

Grace got her start as an athletic trainer at her alma mater, West Virginia. She spent three seasons as a student trainer with the Mountaineers working with football, wrestling, baseball, track and field, and cheerleading. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in May 2018. Grace enjoys being outdoors, playing guitar, painting, and is excited about learning how to snowboard this winter.ameron Motsinger is a native of the Carolinas, Cameron was born and raised in Raleigh, NC. She ventured to East Carolina University to earn a BA in Athletic Training. She completed her graduate assistantship at College of Charleston while earning an MA in Sport Management at The Citadel. Her love for the beach kept her in Charleston, SC for five years working alongside an orthopaedic surgeon at Roper St. Francis Healthcare.


Gaining exposure to a full-time clinic role, Cameron knew VSON was the setting she wanted to be and completing a residency program was the perfect way to acquire the additional skills needed to be an integral part of the healthcare team. 

Nicole is a 2015 graduate of Iowa State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. While at Iowa State, she worked with the Cyclones’ football, men’s basketball, and softball teams. Nicole continued her education at Syracuse University, receiving a Master of Science degree in Exercise Science in 2017. During her graduate assistantship at Syracuse, her primary responsibilities were women’s rowing, women’s volleyball, and assisting men’s lacrosse. Nicole continued into the Division I setting and began working as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Women’s Lacrosse team at the University of Louisville in 2017. In 2019, she moved to Iowa and began working with Northwest Iowa Bone, Joint, and Sports Surgeons, where she initially was placed at Buena Vista University and later moved onto a clinical role where she remained until moving to Colorado. She came to VSON to expand upon her clinical background and learn from nationally recognized experts in orthopaedics and sports medicine while also acquiring additional skills in the operating room.


In her free time, Nicole, her husband Mitch, son Ryker, and two puppies Beau and Remi like to explore the outdoors. They enjoy seeing different areas via scenic drives, hiking, and spending time on any body of water.
