Sarah Miller
Athletic Training Resident
Sarah hails from the Great Lakes state of Michigan, where she completed her undergraduate coursework in Exercise Science at Michigan Technological University, and her master’s degree in Athletic Training at the University of Michigan. Her athletic training experience is majorly influenced by her student immersive clinical hours in collegiate gymnastics, where she worked with both the Men’s and Women’s teams at the University of Michigan in their 2024/2025 seasons. Sarah also holds a minor in military science and is proud to be a veteran of the United States Army, serving through her time in college until 2024.
In her free time, Sarah loves to ice skate and is credentialed under the United States Figure Skating Association as a skating instructor and has coached skaters of all ages and levels. When she is not on the ice, you might find her in the snow cross-country skiing or snowboarding in the winter months. Her summer adventure list includes discovering and enjoying all of the coffee shops nearby, exploring the outdoors with lots of hiking trips, and visiting her favorite sister in Durango. Sarah is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the VSON team and excited to promote the athletic training profession under the mentorship of those supporting her growth in this residency.
