Megan Knudtson
Athletic Training Resident
Megan Knudtson was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa, and attended the University of Northern Iowa, where she earned both her bachelor's degree in Athletic Training and Rehabilitation and a master's degree in Athletic Training.
During her time at UNI, Megan gained clinical experience working with the university's football, volleyball, track and field, and wrestling teams, as well as local high schools and physical therapy clinics.
Outside of her clinical and academic work, Megan served as co-president of the Student Athletic Training Organization, where she organized monthly events to promote the athletic training program and advocate for students and professionals in the field. She also worked as a graduate assistant, leading study sessions for incoming master's students and assisting with cadaver dissections and anatomy instruction for undergraduate students.
When she's not in the clinic, Megan enjoys reading, exploring Colorado's outdoors, trying new recipes, and spending time with her cat, Dexter. She is excited to be part of the VSON team, continue growing as a clinician, and experience skiing for the very first time.
